What is the fade-in button?

The sunrise-shaped button starts playback at silence and gradually ramps up to your current volume over 30 seconds. This is useful when you want sound to ease in gently rather than start at full volume.

What is the difference between the noise types?

White noise has equal energy across all frequencies. Pink noise emphasizes lower frequencies and sounds deeper. Brown noise is even deeper and rumbly. Green noise is band-passed around the mid-range, giving it a natural, leafy texture.
