Some nightclubs in Scotland and Barcelona are offering RFID chip implants to VIP guests, allowing them to store and access account information easily. This raises questions about practicality, particularly for regular patrons of multiple clubs. The growing trend of RFID technology in nightlife may just be the beginning of broader applications.

RFID seems to be everywhere, and now the allways-greedy bar/club owners seem to have found a new use for it. A nightclub in Scottland and a nightclub in Barcelona

offer their VIP visitors an RFID-Chip implant in the arm so they have all their account information stored in there (Which is an easy way to pay, of course).
Now I wonder.. what if you're a regular in like 30 nightclubs? You'll need to carry like 30 RFID-Chips around? Weird stuff, and I guess this is just the beginning, just the tip of the iceberg...
